A few scrapbook pages…

Not that you could tell from my blog content lately, but I love to scrapbook, in fact I still call my craft room my “scrapbook room” even though I have just as much sewing stuff in here as scrapbook.
I’ve been sewing like mad lately and am MAKING myself take a break (just a week or so..) a couple of Christmases ago I sewed so much that I burned myself out majorly and didn’t touch my machine until April…. so in order to prevent a “burn out”… I’ve been making myself sit down and scrapbook this week.
I am a Close to My Heart consultant, a couple of years ago, before my kids and church activities took over my night times, I used to teach scrapbook classes and had a monthly club.. I LOVED it, I really love to teach people how to craft, that’s probably why I enjoy making the sewing tutorial’s so much…. Since my clubs haven’t been running, I’ve not been as good to sit down and make time to scrapbook….. The page above was made at the CTMH album retreat in January… I knew I had the perfect pictures to add when I got home.
I am still a consultant and hold out hope that our evening schedule will settle down sometime and I can start my clubs up again. As for now, I just place orders for friends and family.. so if you need anything let me know!

still needs “something”

I was thinking about it the other day and the very first scrapbook I ever made was with you in high school:) Love your pages. I NEED to scrapbook soon! I’ve got the itch, I just need to find some time to scratch it.

Okay, so you don’t know me, but I check out your blog every so often…It’s adorable! TWO things caught my eye today that I just HAD to comment on.

1st – I’m a CTMH consultant too! I love it, don’t do a ton of extra stuff with it right now, but I submit at least enough quarterly orders to stay active.

2nd – Being the scrapbooker that I am, I had to look closer at your pages than the average Joe. You do beautiful work. – SERIOUSLY, what is the story behind the Garth pictures? I’M JEALOUS! (When I married my husband I jokingly, kind of not jokingly told him that I will never cheat or leave him, except for Garth Brooks! ;)

I’m a scrapbooker too, and wanted to tell you that your pages look wonderful! I especially like the “5 Things” spread :D I have a giveaway on my blog – scrappy class and fabric. I’m determined to do some quilting this summer!
