New Diaper Bag Tutorial

I have my 2nd project up at Moda Bake Shop! It's a diaper bag made from 1 charm pack (pad of pre-cut 5" squares) and 1 Layer cake (10" pre-cut squares) and that's it!
go check out the tutorial.

*edited to add.... hi... I feel terrible that I have to add this... but this skirt tutorial is provided for your own FOR FUN at home use ONLY, please do NOT take this and make or sell a pattern of it. I just saw today that someone took my patchwork skirt tutorial and is selling a pattern of it... not cool.. I want to keep putting this stuff up for free and to share, but only if everyone can play nice!****

This bag is way too cute! I was looking for a diaper bag pattern that was simple and useful for the mommy. By simple I mean not a lot of fabric to cut and you hit it dead on. I hate cutting fabric, mostly cause I can't even cut paper straight, you should see the hap hazard way I cut fabric.

This is great and I can't wait to make it! Thanks bunches.

Hi there! Love the bag - it is next on my list!! I'm currently working on the skirt you had featured on the moda Bakeshop with a wonderland charm pack. I followed your formula for enlarging the pattern to fit my 32 -33 inch waist and that left me with 11 squares across. I have my front and backs assembled and now need to start on thw trim but the pieces are too long to cover with just one 5" strip from my fabric. The pieces are 55 ish" long. Should I take out a couple squares. Sorry - I a really new seamstress -I hope my question makes sense. I couldn't find your email to contact u directly. look forward to hearing from u!

Congratulations on the recognition - your designs are fabulous!

This is a gorgeous bag! I might make one for myself, even though my diaper changing days are long gone. It would be a fun travel bag. Thank you!

Wow! Great job - I love this style. What seam allowance did you use? Do you have overall finished dimensions for the bag? I would love to try making this, but I have some yardage here that I'm going to use instead of the squares. :)

Also, if I were interested in making these bags to sell, would you be willing to sell a license to do so?

Thanks,
Kari :)
