St. James Art Festival

First of all thanks for the nice comments on the Thanksgiving Advent… I was corrected.. the 12 days of Christmas do not count down to Christmas but start AFTER Christmas… so I’ll just call it the 12 days before Thanksgiving Advent… sorry about that.. I got a few requests for the Turkey pattern. I’ll get him scanned and uploaded this weekend.

Me and Traci from Amazing Mae at St. James last year… totally stole this photo from her blog— I think I owe her a treat now :-)

If you are ANYWHERE near Louisville, Kentucky this weekend GO TO St. James Art fair.. It is sooo cool! I am hoping to go, but husbands and children seem to have other plans for me this weekend. It runs through Sunday…. (just a note if you go, DO NOT take a child, unless you want to make your life unnecessarily miserable- super duper crowded, lots of breakable things) oh, and if your in town, you might as well and stop by Lynne’s Paradise Cafe for some breakfast/lunch/dinner and order the french toast…

and last but not least…

Stacy Julian has a new website! Oh, I’ve LOVED her since 1995!  Go check it out!

I am still sad that I missed St. James this year mainly because it’s so great with you and the weather was killer. Oh, instead I was running around with kids and making things for a Scout Dinner, and cleaning the church. Next year is our year.

Melissa, I’m in the middle of making the pillow and I know this isn’t the right spot to ask but I need to know how much ribbon I use and how did you put it on? Did you do a gathering stitch and or what? I need help on this one step. I absolutely love the pillow so far and I can’t wait to get it done. Thanks for your help. Cindy
