Christmas projects follow up...

Just a quick follow up.. I've gotten the same question about a dozen times today, so I figured I'd just post it here, so you all can see.. if you have more questions feel free to email me or leave a comment..(also if you have a question, be sure to leave your email address so I can get back to you).

Q: Where do I get the fabric?
A:  Fat Quarter Shop has all of the supplies in stock (I just checked)... I have ordered from them before and they are fast! (also, this is truly just my opinion... no "paid" advertisement here).
***Also just got an email from The Quilt Shoppe, they have figgy pudding in stock.

Q: What if I only want to make the table runner? What supplies do I need.
A: For the table runner only, you can eliminate the 1/2 yd of blue fabric that I used to bind the tree skirt.  Other than that, the supply list is the same. If you ONLY want to make the tree skirt, you do not need the white jelly roll or turnover. Just the honeybun, batting & backing fabric and 1 fat quarter to make binding.
****edited to add***
okay, and other repeat question:
Q: can this be made full size?
A: Probably, but it would take some "math" and planning.. If I figure it out, I'll be sure to post.
Hope this helps! Like I said let me know if you have more questions.

Very, very cute, but.... could the tree skirt be made for a full size tree?

Crazy... I made something similar a month ago and I even used buttons for the holly berries. Great minds think alike :) Oh and to add to the similarities, they posted my project on http://blog.missouriquiltco.com/ today.

Pink Chalk Studios has some of the fabrics too. And I agree that the FQS is fast and has good service also abroad (own experience).
