It feels like January is slipping away quickly, although I still think that Spring can not come soon enough. I’ve had it with gray skies and cold weather, my soul needs some sunshine and warmth! There is one up side to the cold skies of January, it’s time to start planning for Valentine’s day!
We {love} Valentine’s day in our house. I’ve already started thinking of new crafts to make this year to celebrate. I got a great idea for a special Valentine’s day themed craft, then went searching for the supplies this week and could not find a very essential item! So I guess it will wait another week, I hate it when I get a “bee in my bonnet” and then can’t complete the project.
We are not done with “resourceful” here in January — still to come are some sewing and clothing ideas, but I’ve decided that my February focus is “LOVE”… original I know. *wink*
Since craftiness, especially around holidays requires some lead time, I thought I’d do a little preemptive Valentines day post….
Here’s a link to some of the crafty Valentine’s Ideas featured here in the past…
enjoy…
I hope you enjoy your week of crafting or whatever it is you get to do! We are off to Salt Lake City this week for a short trip, so if you see someone at a fabric store that you think looks like me, say “hi”!!!

i was going to ask for you to post some sort of valentine day project. i think i need to do a banner this year. let me know when you have some time to get together on your visit.
I love Valentine’s Day too… and am so glad you posted your links. That little pouch is such a cute idea!
These pics totally inspire me to plan something fun for our family’s V-Day celebration this year! Thanks for getting me thinking about it ahead of time!
Well I don’t know how January has halfway gone and I’m still pining over a cold I got for New Years! February is right around the corner though. I can’t wait to see all your “LOVE” stuff!
I love the cross my heart pillow. So simple and cute! Especially the pom pom’s
I have used to feel like Valentines was like a hallmark holiday. But with kids, it is so much more fun to celebrate and get them involved too.
I’m new to the blogging world and love your blog! I’m also from Kentucky – Lexington area. Can’t wait to read more!
