10 blogging tips learned at SNAP

Last month I attend the SNAP conference in Salt Lake City. Since I usually get a lot of questions from other bloggers, after I attend a blogger event, like…. “did you like it?” , “should I go?” “what did you learn?” I thought I’d type up a little mini recap for you complete with 10 things I learned at SNAP.
What do I do now? The end of Google Reader

I’m sure many of you heard last week that Google announced it’s reader will be kaput as of July 1st 2013. This announcement was met by audible gasps by me. Because, one I love the ease and use of the reader and two, I’ve spent 6 years trying to build up a blog following and Google Reader has played a big part in that.

I’m a bit of a thinker. Something happens and I have to take time to “process” it. Last month I attended the SNAP conference at Thanksgiving Point Utah. It was a completely wonderful experience. I came home and wasn’t quite sure how to put the experience in words.

Bloggy tips & tricks
When I started this blog 2 years ago, I had very little experience with the blog world. I had worked in IT for 5 years, but on the development side… I knew absolutely nothing about html. Today I still know very little about html- just enough to be dangerous *wink* Everything I know I have learned by googling my problem and finding the answer. (along with a lot of trial and error)
