Wool Christmas Stocking Tutorial
Today I’m going to share with you how I made these simple wool Christmas stockings for our family. The ones we had before were to narrow (Santa couldn’t fit a DVD or Wii game in there *wink*) so 3 years ago I decided to make new ones. 2 years ago I bought the fabric and last year I cut them out. Then FINALLY this year I made them… I should call these the “super simple stockings that only take 3 years to make” *wink*
Tags for the Neighbor Treats!
I hope you’re not sick of Christmas!! I’ve got a few more projects to share. The timing wasn’t right before Christmas (don’t want to ruin any surprises!)… I’m going to share them this week… here’s my first “belated Christmas” project.
We have a family tradition of delivering our neighbor treats on Christmas Eve. It didn’t start out as a tradition, more of a procrastination on my part… A few years ago I just decided to go with it and plan on delivering on Christmas eve every year.

Peppermint Bark Recipe
I’ve had a couple of requests to share the peppermint bark recipe that was in these boxes:

Which I don’t mind sharing at all as it’s one of my favorite Christmas Recipes!! I’ve been making this peppermint bark for years now. It’s slightly different that other recipes that I’ve seen in that it uses Rice Krispie cereal to made it extra light and crunchy.
Some Christmas Sewing
I’m kinda in the middle of one of those “10 projects half way… nothing done” phases right now. I thought I’d pop in and share with you one of the things I’ve been working on this month.
Last year I bought this pack of funky Christmas print pre cut squares from Amy Smart.
She made this awesome Christmas Quilt with hers. A Christmas quilt was my intention when I ordered them, then I looked at them and saw stars.
Washi Tape Christmas Tags
A few weeks ago I had what I thought was a brilliant idea at 2 am whilst lying in bed. Use washi tape to embellish plain shipping tags for Christmas!! We are always running out of tags at Christmastime and thought this would be an easy cheap way to solve this problem.
I woke up the next morning and googled “wash Christmas tags” then realized I was a little (okay A LOT) late to the whole shipping tag/washi tape party *wink*…
