White Chocolate Raspberry Bars
Welcome to the Blog Tour for the new Sweet Celebrations book!! I am so honored to have contributed a project to this great book!
The book hits the shelves this MONTH!! I am so excited to see it, I will be stalking my postman every day until I get my copy.
A new sewing book! Sweet Celebrations
The folks at Moda got a bunch of us Moda Bake Shop designers together again to collaborate on a new book. This one’s called Sweet Celebrations.
Let me tell you I’m soooooo excited for this one to come out!! Not because I have a project featured in it, but because the projects in it all look sooooo cool!!!
It’s divided up by seasons and holidays. Included are all kinds of projects to make to help you celebrate all through the year.
A finished Zig Zag quilt top
I like many others have been infatuated with zig zag quilts that are popping up everywhere. I got my original inspiration for this quilt from Allison at Cluck Cluck Sew.

It’s a lap quilt size. I think I’ll back it with flannel to make it soft.
To simplify the construction I used Moda 10″ precuts for both the white pieces and the Tula Pink pieces.
Padded Laptop Case
Last summer I finished off my project for the Fresh Fabric Treats book then mailed it off to the publishers.
The next day I realized I actually NEEDED the project, I mean, I made it for a reason. I had nothing to carry my laptop in when I traveled.

So using the same pattern that I created for my book project, I made this padded laptop case.
Summer Reading
I ordered a little somethin’ from amazon this week…
It came a few days ago and I’ve been curled up on the couch with a bit of summer reading.
It’s the Fresh Fabric Treats book!
I flipped though it quick and found my project (had to make sure it actually got into the book!)…
Since the cat’s out of the bag, I thought I’d share my project from the book.

More sneak peeks
The Stash Books blog has got a great sneak peek at the upcoming Moda Bake Shop book Fresh Fabric Treats.
One of the sneak peeks on their blog may or may not be the project that I contributed to the book…
and I may or may not posted said sneak peek above… *wink*
Once I get the go ahead from Moda I’ll share more details about my project for the book (there are actually 3 patterns included with my project!!)
