S’mores anyone?

I want to share with you this fun and quick project that we did in our backyard last summer.

We wanted to put in a fire pit- but didn’t want to spend a lot of money on it or have someone come out and lay stone for us. This project that I am about to share, turned out to take sooo much more time that I thought it would. We have a deck on the back of the house (which I shared on this post last year), underneath the deck is concrete patio. It seemed like such a good spot that I did not want to waste it. Gussied up Beach Towels

Last week I got a fun box in the mail! Silhouette sent me some of their Heat Transfer material to play with! I have to admit, it’s one of my favorite products of theirs to experiment with! If you build it…

This summer we have undertaken a very large project in our back yard. I mentioned before that we put in a pool. While we had someone come and install the pool & fence (much beyond our capabilities), we have been landscaping ourselves.

Making numerous trips to home improvement stores for plants, researching what will grow best in our area, what will give us privacy but still look nice, and what we can afford on what little budget we have left after building the pool. Read more... (704 words, 11 images)
