Memory Necklace
There was a supply list given each of us going to Creative Escape. Various tools and items that we would need to complete our projects. Most were things like, scissors, adhesive, ink pads etc. On that list were 2 items, a 2×2 photo of someone you love and the proof sheet that comes with your photos when you have them printed ( you know the little tiny photos all on a sheet). Me being who I am and leaving things to the last minute, was packing at midnight the night before we left and just grabbed a stack of photos off of my scrapbook table. It was from my trip to Paris, I figured there were lots of great photos in there one or 2 would work.
The Paris Flea Market
First of all, I hope you have enjoyed hearing a bit about my trip. Personally I LOVE to read about people’s vacations so I thought you might also…. If you did not enjoy it… sorry, just skip over it… and don’t worry, tomorrow we are back to our regularly scheduled programming (i.e. crafting!!)
Day 3:
Meeting Mona
After the train ride back to Paris we decided to visit the Louvre, it was Friday night and they were staying open until 9pm.
The timing was great, we got there right as the sun was setting… Other than some of the rooms not being fully lit, it was a fantastic time to visit the Louvre. Very few crowds & most of the stores and other museums in Paris were closed by 6pm so we were able to squeeze more into the day.
The “anti” pickpockets at Versailles
Yep, we are crazy people and decided to tackle the Louvre & Versailles in the same day! I found out the Louvre was open til 9pm on Friday night and didn’t want to go to Versailles on Saturday, so that was the plan… and it worked! Jeff and I both sat down at dinner that night and went “wow, we got to see a lot of things today”…
The One where I get to see the Eiffel Tower….
I don’t usually have many photos of myself on this blog, mostly because I’m not really photogenic… When someone wants to take my picture I just kinda stare at the camera with a “what am I supposed to do now look…” But for this trip I’ll share a few photos of myself… just know it’s a stretch for me..
Absentee…
No Friday giveaway this week… I’m an “absentee” blogger… because I’m here…..
(with a big stack of printed out blogger comments from you guys!!)
I scheduled this post before I left, so I hope I am having fun right now *wink*… When I get back I’ll give you the “details” (after I recover from the jetlag)…
Have a great weekend! Come back next week…. we DO have a giveaway next Friday and Tuesday Tutorial is ready and waiting…
