DIY Bookmarks using Rhonna Designs Art
I’ve had a wonderful time this year as part of the Rhonna Designs Design Team! I’ve really looked forward every month to dreaming up a project using her awesome digital designs.
For my August project, I decided to make bookmarks for my girls. You see school just started back up and I figured they could use some. I love that everything Rhonna makes is so uplifting and inspirational, and I thought some of her wonderful quotes would make great motivational bookmarks for my kids.
Teacher Gift Idea
We are out of school here for the summer believe it or not! I’m still a little mixed up that it’s still May since the kids are all home today. It’s going to be a loooong summer break.
For the last day of school I sent in appreciation gifts to my kids teachers. Being very girly I thought they would like a basket of “sparkly” stuff.
Teacher appreciation ideas
With teacher appreciation week and the end of the school year coming up I thought I’d share some ideas for teacher gifts that I’ve featured here in the past
you can also make it without the flowers, or add a mirror to the center!
A fun idea for Senior Pictures
My sister in law is the photographer for her daughters Field Hockey team. She came with a great idea to make a banner with “Class of 2012″ to use for photos of the seniors this year.
She enlisted my help to make the banner and I was happy to help! I love a good project, and she had an awesome idea.
Ruler Wreath
A couple of days I posted on the Polkadot Chair facebook page asking for ideas for a wreath for my front door. I was stumped, too late for summer, too early for fall. Lots of people suggested that I do a back to school wreath. Then they suggested I use school supplies to make it then VOILA I had and idea! (thanks guys!!!)…
Tuesday Tutorial: Charm Pack Pennant
**the teachers name has been “disguised” for privacy reasons**
I was in charge of my son’s class for Teacher Appreciation last week. I was supposed to decorate her door and was trying to think of something more permanent than just paper.
While lying in bed one night, I got this idea! I was so excited I got up and cut it out that night!
