Updated: Dec 11, 2019 by Melissa Mortenson · This post may contain affiliate links · This blog generates income via ads · 1 Comment

Amongst all of the hustle and bustle of Christmas, there is a tradition that I absolutely adore and look forward to every year.  Going to the mailbox every to check for happy mail, Christmas Cards! If you’re looking for creative ways to display Christmas Cards then I hope that this article helps you out a bit!

10 Ways to Display Christmas Cards

I love hearing from far away (and close by) friends and family, seeing the photos of their beautiful families and catching up a little bit with what’s going on in their lives.

Our Christmas cards are on the way and will be mailed out soon.  If you haven’t had a chance yet to order cards this year, pop on over to Minted.com and check out some of their amazing designs. They have deals going on all month, they change each day so make sure you visit their specials page.

I’ve ordered from them several times in the past (Christmas Cards, business cards, and graduation announcements) and I adore their cards. Gorgeous unique designs, reliable service, and amazing quality.

10 Creative and Clever Ways to Display Christmas Cards:

Speaking of Christmas Cards, how do you display yours? I’ve been collecting mine in a bowl by the front door but just last night picked up a fun display holder.  If you’re still looking for ideas, here are 10 fun and creative ways to display your Holiday Cards.

    ONE: Christmas Card Tree

Video Tutorial How to Make a Christmas Card Tree @ Martha Stewart. I love this idea from Martha Stewart. She takes a tree from the yard and brings it indoors. Then hangs the Holiday cards from the branches.

    TWO: Repurpose an Old Shutter

Shutter Display @ Midwest Living. I have a bunch of old shutters that I’ve been saving for something. I never knew quite what to use them for. This idea from Midwest Living is adorable and useful since the holiday cards can hang from the louvers in the shutters.

    THREE: Use a Frame

Framed Christmas Display @ Reasons to Skip the Housework. Have an empty frame you don’t know what to do with? String some Christmas lights across it and turn it into a Christmas cardholder.

    FOUR: DIY Ruler Display

Ruler Display @ Tatertots and Jello. This cute Christmas tree built from rulers is an adorable way to display your cards.

    FIVE: Add to a Wreath

Christmas Card Wreath at Funky Junk Interiors. This idea is simple and beautiful. Simply repurpose a wreath into a Christmas card display using some simple clips.

SIX: On a DIY Burlap Wreath

Wreath at Amazing Mae Charms. A simple styrofoam wreath covered with burlap ribbon makes an adorable display.

    SEVEN: Ribbons on a Frame

Frame Display @ Midwest Living. Another clever take on a frame turned Holiday card display.

EIGHT: Make a Burlap Card Holder

DIY Christmas Card Holder.... no sew!

Burlap Wall Display. Turn a simple burlap table runner into a cute Christmas card holder with this simple tutorial.

NINE: Simple Idea; Ribbons on a Wall

Ribbon Display: North Carolina Charm. You don’t need anything elaborate. You can display your cards on ribbons on your wall.

TEN: Add to the Staircase Bannister

Stairway Display @ Clover Lane. A staircase is a perfect place to display cards from loved ones this year.
