1 packageWrapped Caramels
1Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
2-3 packagesCandy Melts in Various Colors
Miscellaneous Candy Decorating Supplies
Instructions
Unwrap the caramels and place in a glass or metal bowl. (If you have a double boiler use that). Place the bowl over a pan with boiling water and stir until the caramels melt.
Add a bit (1 - 2 T) of sweetened condensed milk as the caramels melt.
Remove the caramel from heat and dip apples before the caramel hardens up.
Decorate as desirned with packaged candies.
Notes
Be careful with the hot caramel. Make sure you are using all precautions, do not allow children to dip the apples in hot caramel.
