The Polka Dot Chair was founded in 2008 and is run by Melissa Mortenson, of Louisville, Kentucky. The Polka Dot Chair is a place for Creative Moms and Families to come to find simple and inspiring DIY projects for their home, sewing projects, Holiday crafts, and family recipes. Its mission is to make its readers WANT to create.
Who are our Readers?
Our readers are mostly women who love to create. Yes, they love to sew, craft and quilt but they also love to travel, decorate their home and spend time with their loved ones.
Our readers are Makers. Quilters, Sewists, Crafters & DIY’ers.
They are active, intelligent and informed consumers, and we would love to share your message with them.
