25 Days of December, this year.
Last year was the first year that I decided to make a “25 days of December” Album.. The idea was originated by Ali Edwards, and she has alot of ideas and Q &A on her blog. Last year I made an album from chip board, this year I decided that I wanted an actual “album” one that would be a bit sturdier to little kids hands through the years. The idea behind the album is to take 1 photo a day and write down what you did that day. This way you had a permanent memory of all the things your family does to celebrate the Christmas season.
I found an unfinished 9×9 album with a linen spine. I covered the album with scrapbook paper then embellished it with some Christmas scrapbook supplies.
For the inside pages I used a variety of pattern paper, felt, acetate and chipboard pages that have tabs. I’m going to go and list some of our “key” activities on the tabs when I’m done.
Inside cover and cover page.
a 7 gypsies journaling card that I clipped in the album. The photos from this day will go on the page after the journaling card and the facing page (both are chipboard)
Another page, just the journaling. I noticed last year I had a hard time keeping up with the journaling, so I’m doing the journaling first then going to go back and add photos and embellishments next (since the photos have a date, it’s easy to figure that part out).
I admire your tenacity. I am not sure I could take on such a project at this time of year. Whew. ~Kelly

This is a great idea and one that you can look back on each year. Cute album that you have made.
Great idea!! I have made a few mini albums like this, but they are all still without photos!!
Love the vintage feel of the papers you used, they look great!
