Valentine’s Day Table Setting & Dinner Ideas
Happy Valentine’s Day to you all! I hope you are able to spend it with people that you love.
Our Family’s Valentine’s Day Traditions:
My husband and I have been married for almost 20 years now. Lots of Valentine’s Days together. What we’ve found we like the best is to have dinner with our kids at home on Valentine’s Day. No fighting the crowds and restaurants, or making reservations.
Valentine’s Day Dinner Ideas:
We always have Fettuccine Alfredo and Chicken Parmesan. The real stuff. With fresh pasta, and real cream and butter. And the chicken has to be pounded out thin. I had to buy the pink soda, it matched!
It’s our favorite meal and I save it for special occasions since it’s not what you would call healthy.
This year I bought a cake for dessert. Baking cakes is not my strongest talent in the kitchen and I’ve learned it’s better to rely on someone else’s expertise.
Valentine’s Table Decor Ideas:
Just a simple place setting. Fun cardboard chargers I found at the craft store, white china, red polka dot plates and a little LOVE note for each person.
I was looking through my photos today at the past few years and I was taken back by how much my kids have changed. I almost had to double-check the date of the photos. Here are a few shots from some of our celebrations in the past.
Your valentines tablescape looks absolutely dreamy! I love every. Single. Detail. :). Where on earth did
You get the “happy” cardboard chargers? I love them! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Amy,
I got them locally at Ben Franklin Crafts- I checked the package and they are from a company called Studio OH…. I hope this helps!
It all looks amazing and I love that you all share a special dinner together at home on Valentine’s Day!! Hugs from Conroe, TX
