Join Me For The Bluegrass Sampler Quilt Along!
Please join me for a quilt-along featuring my newest quilt pattern, the Bluegrass Sampler quilt! Sew along with me as we create a unique quilt inspired by the Bluegrass region of Kentucky!
I’m excited to announce a new Quilt Along! It’s been a while since I’ve hosted a proper quilt-along, and figured it was about time to do another one.
Recently, Riley Blake released a new fabric collection designed by yours truly, Bluegrass Charm. The fabric line is inspired by the bluegrass region of Kentucky. To complement the fabric collection, I designed three new quilt patterns. One of the quilt patterns is the Bluegrass Sampler quilt.
About the Quilt Pattern
The Bluegrass Sampler Quilt is a unique Sampler Quilt pattern that features pieced barns, houses, fences, ribbons, and star blocks, along with appliqued horses and horseshoes.
You won’t get bored making this quilt as it features a variety of quilt block types and quilting techniques!
Finished size: 48″ x 72″
Features: Raw Edge Appliqué, Traditional, and Foundation Paper Piecing.
Fabric Requirements for Quilt
- Background Fabric: 3 1/2 Yards (Riley Blake Cloud)
- Block Fabrics: 1 Fat Quarter Pack of Bluegrass Charm Fabric
- Additional Fabrics: 3/4 Yard Small Floral; Blue
- Binding: 5/8 Yard
- Backing: 5 Yards

The Quilt Along will be hosted on my YouTube channel. Videos will be posted on Wednesdays in August.
I’ll share tips and tricks for creating many of the blocks in the quilt! If you’re new to quilting, this is a great way to build some of your quilting skills!
Quilt Kits & Fabric Info
We have a limited number of BYOB (Bring Your Own Background Fabric) Quilt Kits available in our shop! The quilt kit contains a Fat Quarter Pack of Bluegrass Charm fabric, 3/4 yard each of extra fabric for blocks and binding, and a printed copy of the pattern.
