Nautical Chic Mini Album
I LOVE making mini scrapbook albums! All of the fun of scrapbooking with a concrete “ahhh, I’m finished!” moment!
For this album I decided to tackle some of the 2000+ photos from our trip to the Mediterranean 5 years ago (was it really that long ago??)
Since I’ve journaled about this trip extensively – I just wanted to put a few of our favorite photos from the trip into a little album that I can keep in my basket with my other mini books.
I was excited to try out cutting some .png files with my Silhouette machine. I found this great tutorial by Nancy on how to convert them to cut. It was so easy!! I’m going to be doing it more often now. I cut out the “hello” on the page above using this technique.
Then I just printed out some of the Rhonna Designs Nautical Chic papers and a few pages of embellishments and glued them onto a 6×6 white board book album.
In Photoshop I also added words to some of the .png files from her InstaLove kit. Which made for some quick and easy embellishments for the album.
This is just a sampling of our trip, but I’ve got a few other projects in mind to start tackling some of the other photos.
