Embroidered Zippy Pouches
I love to make zippy pouches. They are super simple to make (don’t be afraid of the zipper) and there are a lot of possibilities to change up the look of them. Plus they are so quick to sew that they make EXCELLENT gifts! Just fill them up with a few goodies!
This zippy pouch was made as a gift last spring. ย I thought that it’s a fun idea for those of you that have an embroidery sewing machine. ย I just embroidered the word “glam” onto the front of the fabric before I sewed the pouch together.
I used the same technique to make this one- but used the word “pretty” instead. ย The purse is the June Bag Pattern from fourteen may.
To make my zip pouches, I use the “How to make a lined Zippered Pouch” tutorial over at Skip To My Lou.
The only thing I change is that I line the outside of my pouches with fusible fleece and the ย lining of the pouches with lightweight fusible interfacing.
They would also be cute to make using the monogram of your intended recipient!
