A few travel scrapbook pages
Last Spring I spent a wonderful few days in the Netherlands. I’m just now starting to go through the photos and get them properly scrapbooked.
Lifestyle Crafts has introduced a new product called Shape N Tape. It’s essentially washi tape by the sheet. They asked if they could send me some to play with, and review. I, of course, said YES!
I chose to work with the orange sheets of tape. The national color of the Netherlands is Orange, so I decided that would be a great color story to carry through all of my pages.
Lifestyle also sent me a few dies to play with. One of them was the arrow border die. I thought that since I was using the project life system to scrapook my trip, it might be fun to do a little ‘peek a boo’ between two of the pages using the arrow die cut.
I started with 2 6″x12″ sheets of card stock. I then cut them BOTH at the same time using the arrow die.
Afterwards I cut a strip of the Shape N tape and covered the back of one of the arrow borders.
It then put the other 6″x12″ sheet over the top.
It ended up making a fun peek a boo that would show through on both sides of the page.
I also used the shape and tape and covered one of my journaling cards entirely, I like how the tape is partially translucent. I thought it gave it a fun texture.
Here are a few more shots of the pages I created:
After playing around with the Shape and Tape sheets for a few days I can say that I love this stuff!! Having the tape by the sheet opens up some many more possibilities when it comes to creating.
