Corner Star Quilt Block Pattern for the Festive Friends Quilt Along
Create a clever star in a star quilt Sawtooth quilt block for the corners of the Festive Friends Quilt Pattern with our quilt block pattern.
We’re nearing the end of our Christmas quilt along, and today, we are going to be constructing the corner blocks for the quilt.
What’s a Christmas quilt without a star? This quilt features four of them!
The corner blocks for the quilt are all sewn the same way, but each one features a different color outside the star.
The colors are Red, Daisy (shown), Clover, and Bear Lake. I decided to design the blocks this way to help tie all of the colors of the quilt together!
If you prefer, you can sew all of your blocks from the same fabric, it’s totally up to you since it’s your quilt!
What is the Quilt Along?
The Festive Friends Quilt Along is a free quilting event hosted on the Polka Dot Chair. During the month of December, create a fun Christmas quilt with our free Christmas quilt block patterns. Between December 1st and 20th, visit our site to print one of the adorable Christmas quilt blocks (blocks will be posted throughout the month; full schedule below). But don’t delay because, like Cinderella, the patterns will disappear at midnight on December 31st 2024. Now that the quilt along is over the patterns have been moved to our shop. Watch for a NEW QUILT ALONG December 2025!
