Inside Out Stars Quilt Block Pattern
The Inside Out Stars Quilt block is a 10″ block featuring four Sawtooth Star blocks. We are happy to offer the quilt pattern for free as part of the Riley Blake Designs Quilt Block Challenge.
We are now on block fourteen of the Riley Blake Quilt block challenge, and I designed the block this week!
The block features four small sawtooth star quilt blocks sewn together, with alternating dark and light background fabrics.
As with all the other blocks in the challenge, I’ve created my block with my Tulip Cottage fabric collection.
I chose to feature the pink, blue, and green fabrics from the line, fussy-cutting the cottage from the farm field print and the cows from the bunnies and cow print.
We have a selection of Tulip Cottage precuts in our shop!
Many online and brick-and-mortar quilt shops also carry yardage from the line.
Alternate Color Combinations
Here, the quilt block sewn mostly in primary colors from the Riley Blake Confetti cotton line.
I took time and pinned all of my quilt blocks on my design wall. As I was pinning them up, I got an idea for my final layout that I can’t wait to share with all of you!
I accidentally photographed next week’s block, so I had to blur that out so as not to spoil the surprise for you!
