With Spring now upon us I figured it was high time that I did another Saturday Snapshots post.  These posts are more personal in nature, just a way for us to get to know each other a little bit better. I totally fell off the “Saturday Snapshots” bandwagon last winter…. let’s just say I didn’t…

So there was this adorable little girl. She was born 18 years ago and had a Winnie the Pooh in her nursery. She used to watch the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh over and over again. Her Mom picked her up some Winnie the Pooh prints at the the Victoria and Albert museum in…

I thought today I’d share a bit more with you about the rest of our trip to Hawaii.  We pick up on day 4…  Let me first tell you that “vacation induced oneryness” has begun to set in at this point.  The photos are pretty but we were not without our fair share of “who…

I thought I’d share a bit with you about my very first trip to Hawaii!  I was not going to share much about my trip here on my blog, but then my husband protested… he says that he really enjoys reading the posts about our trips. Plus I do have to admit that I frequently…

Have you seen Oz the Great and Powerful yet?  My family and I sat down to watch it last week and absolutely loved it.  I thought I had such a great message about overcoming obstacles and believing in yourself. Any time I watch a movie I’m always inspired by the costumes.  I adore seeing…

When we first went to Disneyworld several years ago, I kept wondering what all those pin trading stands were.  You see them all over the park.  Feeling overwhelmed at the time I didn’t pay too much attention.  Then we went back again, and our Disney package came with a  free pin trading starter kit…

In the last few years I’ve totally changed how I approach scrapbooking.  Instead of individual albums focused on specific events with only 1-2 pages per event, I’ve moved to an annual family album.  Then to capture our more memorable moments (vacations, special events, holidays) I’ve moved to making individual mini albums.

Last Fall we went to Disneyworld.  It’s my favorite Fall vacation, great weather in South Florida, lighter crowds and the Epcot Food and Wine Festival.   We’ve been a few times (one of the benefits of being within driving distance) and I don’t think I’d ever go in the summer again, after seeing how nice…

I could not convince my family ALL to match for Halloween this year (I know, I’m horrible… I always try to match the costumes).  So the girls were Witches  & the boys went as, Icabod Crane & the Headless Horseman I didn’t make my husbands costume. Just “refashioned” it from some previous costumes and cut…

Pin It A few months ago I shared with you one of my “tricks” for scrapboooking vacations. Today I’m going to show you how I used those tricks to make this Disney Cruise Scrapbook.  Essentially I do the journaling on the trip then come back afterwards and add photos and embellishments. A few weeks ago,…

We are back from a much anticipated Spring Break trip and I am happy to report we found some Sunshine! We spent a few days on the “Happiest Place on the Ocean”… Which apparently was many people’s “happiest” place last week,  since it was really crowded. Then a couple more days seeing the sights in…
