Flapper Halloween Costumes
Last week we were able to have a little “dress rehearsal” for Halloween at Disneyworld’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. If you follow me on facebook, you may have seen the photo of us there last week.
Make your own Witches Hat Fascinator
Last week I guest blogged over at eighteen25 for their Spooktacluar September series… here’s my post in case you missed it!
Hello eighteen25 readers. My name is Melissa Mortenson and I blog over at The Polka Dot Chair. This is the 3rd year that I’ve had the privilege of contributing to Spooktacular September! I think I can consider it an annual tradition now!
Today I wanted to share with you this tutorial for making your own Witches Hat Fascinator.
A Princess Skirt
Last Fall we went to Disneyworld. It’s my favorite Fall vacation, great weather in South Florida, lighter crowds and the Epcot Food and Wine Festival. We’ve been a few times (one of the benefits of being within driving distance) and I don’t think I’d ever go in the summer again, after seeing how nice it is in the Fall.
Mr. Horseman & Mr. Crane
I could not convince my family ALL to match for Halloween this year (I know, I’m horrible… I always try to match the costumes). So the girls were Witches & the boys went as,
Icabod Crane & the Headless Horseman
I didn’t make my husbands costume. Just “refashioned” it from some previous costumes and cut off some pants he didn’t like. He found the hat at Disneyworld & we picked up a scarf at Target for him to wear.
Another Travel Album
A few months ago I shared with you one of my “tricks” for scrapboooking vacations. Essentially I do the journaling on the trip then come back afterwards and add photos and embellishments.
A few weeks ago, this album looked like this:
As I’ve been in the scrapbooking mood lately- I finally opened the baggie and got the album put together.
