RBD Block Challenge Block 7; Reach for the Stars Quilt Block Pattern
Welcome to block 7 of the Riley Blake Block Challenge! This week’s free quilt block pattern is called, Reach for the Stars and was designed by Melanie Collette.
I know that many of you have anxiously been awaiting the restart of the Block Challenge! March was a weird month since it had 5 weeks, and Riley Blake shared only 3 blocks. This means we’ve gone two weeks without a free block pattern.
About the Block Challenge
As a reminder, the Riley Blake Block challenge runs February thru June. Each month 3 free block patterns are shared. In June, Riley Blake will post the finishing instructions for the quilt. Each of the quilt blocks measures 10″ finished.
I’ve been stitching my quilt blocks for the Quilt Block Challenge from the Liberty Flower Show Line and have been really happy with how they have come together so far.

Melanie of Hello Melly Designs designed this week’s block. It’s a really cool star quilt block. Her block is sewn from her newest fabric line, Pure Delight.
