Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentines Day!! I hope you get to celebrate it with those that you love!!  We will be having our "fancy" dinner on the "fancy" plates in the dining room, the kids look forward to it every year. (which reminds me I should go to the grocery store to get some "fancy" food for our "fancy" dinner... not terribly prepared this year.)

I just thought I'd share with you a couple of Valentines I made this weekend. My husband is having me help him out at his office with a few marketing items... He wanted something to pass out to patients, and something for his staff.

For his patients, we found these cute heart suckers. I then made little tags in Illustrator for them.  Super easy, just punched them out with my scalloped circle punch, punched a hole in the center then tied them onto the suckers.

For his staff, I printed out the Valentine's Day Subway Art from eighteen25 and wrapped it around a giant Hershey bar.  Really easy and not too "lovey dovey".

Since I'm not the best at being AHEAD of things for Holidays (which is hard when you are trying to create blog content... it helps to be a bit "ahead" of the game)... you will still see some Valentine's day stuff on the blog this month... but hey, just think of it as being EXTRA prepared for next year!

I wish that I could have visited your husband's office today to get one of these lollipops. You ended up making such great treats - lucky patients and lucky co workers.

I LOVE these treats. I think I'll copying them in the future. The photos of them turned out great too. The lighting was perfect.

Hope your Fancy Dinner was yummy and you had a great holiday.

And YES I'd be game to drive down to see everyone. Derby time is always worth a HUGE celebration. Funny you mention Julie. I called her on her birthday and she said she got to see you, then Rich showed me the photo of you guys at dinner on Facebook. So fun!
