40 Gifts for 40 Years
This week I turned 40 years old. To be honest I’m really not sure how I feel about that, it could take up a post all in itself.
For my 40th birthday gift, my Mom sent me the cutest thing! It was such a fun and unique idea that after I had opened a couple of the packages I thought “I HAVE to stop and take pictures of this!” It was such a nice idea that I wanted to share it with you here today.

10 blogging tips learned at SNAP
Last month I attend the SNAP conference in Salt Lake City. Since I usually get a lot of questions from other bloggers, after I attend a blogger event, like…. “did you like it?” , “should I go?” “what did you learn?” I thought I’d type up a little mini recap for you complete with 10 things I learned at SNAP.
DIY Pretty Ponies Necklace
The first Saturday in May is coming up this week, which around here means one thing! It’s Kentucky Derby time! In celebration I’m excited to share with you these Pony Party Favors!
The city of Louisville rolls out the red carpet once a year and welcomes the world. The entire 2 weeks leading up to the Derby is full of lots of fun local events, it’s truly the best time of the year to be in Kentucky.
DIY Kentucky Derby Fascinator
Okay, file this one under GO BIG OR GO HOME! I LOVE a cool Kentucky Derby Fascinator!
Every year at the Kentucky Derby the hats are the stars of the show, second only to the horses.
I’ve been to the Kentucky Oaks several times now and I can tell you that hat watching is one of my favorite parts of the event.
DIY Happy Birthday t-shirts with Rhonna Designs
Last week my twins turned 12! I can not hardly believe it, there was a time that I thought they’d be babies forever (this thought usually occurred in the middle of the night with 2 screaming babies).
A day before their birthday my daughter said to me “Mom, I don’t have a birthday t-shirt!”…… This surprised me as I don’t think she has EVER had a birthday t-shirt.
The Lulu Life Soiree
My dear friends Gretchen & Natalie of Lulubelles have taken the plunge and are going to host a creative event in the Louisville area!
I’m excited to be a part of this event! I will be teaching a paper crafting class.
We will be making this celebrate banner. Perfect for any occasion whether it’s a holiday or a birthday.
